Weeks 1 & 2
Week 1: Getting To Know You - an introductory week where we establish what safety looks like to us in this group.
Week 2: Tell Your Story - through reflective prompts you will have the chance to share the impact that loving someone with addiction has had on you.

Weeks 3 & 4
Week 3: Hear Your Story - validating your feelings around your situation. Identifying the āshouldsā that get in the way of your healing.
Week 4: Codependency or relational trauma? The impact of the trauma of addiction on your own beliefs and behaviours.

Weeks 5 & 6
Week 5: Boundaries - what are they and how do we set them?
Week 6: The āDrama Triangleā - understanding how our current relationship dynamic is perpetuating drama in our lives.

Weeks 7 & 8
Week 7: Dealing With Grief -Ā how our landscapes of life are changed through the loss that addiction has brought into our lives.
Week 8: Healthy Communication -Ā in the face of frustration, how to deal with high intensity times such as holidays.

Weeks 9 & 10
Week 9: The Anatomy Of Trust - learning the elements that contribute to trustworthiness and who you really need to trust.
Week 10: Your Support Network - how create your own support network and figuring out who we want and need in our inner circle.

Weeks 11 & 12Ā
Wrapping up our time together, sharing thoughts, feedback and where we want to go from here.
What to expect
The āFeeling Freedomā programme is a trauma informed 12 week undertaking for anyone dealing with a loved oneās addiction.
We will come together on a weekly 90 minute call to share and find fellowship as well as going through practical and immediately implementable tools and techniques for your day to day. Weāll also be able to go deeper into some of the key concerns when dealing with addiction such as trust, trauma, boundaries and healthy communication.
There will be on demand videos to learn more in your own time as well as Emotional Freedom Technique tapping videos to help reduce your anxiety and stress levels. Throughout the 12 weeks there will be prompts to journal and share about your own process in a way which feels intimate and safe.
